Which game is better, Super Smash Bros, Or Pokemon Sun/Moon?

Prove Arca wrong, and say that Pokemon Sun/Moon is WAY better that Super Smash Poos. I mean, bros.

New Category Intro + Pokemon Sun/Moon Rumors + MY TEAM!!

AYYYYYYY!!!! Its Xiang, and I, today, am starting a new category, and it will be about Pokemon! The new category is specifically for Pokemon, and I have no idea why I haven't thunk of this in the past.

Image result for pokemon sun and moon wallpaper

So, mainly, this will be about the Pokemon Moon game, since that is the only one that I have experience with and also the one I haven't finished. I also did this since I didn't have anything else to write, and I figured this could get interesting. If you don't like Pokemon, just say in comments, "I HATE POKEMON." Otherwise, don't ignore this. This is a new category, and I think I could whip up a Pokemon post per two weeks depending on what their is to write about. So, lets get started.

POKEMON RUMORS:

New Game Series:

Lately, there have been rumors of either a new Pokemon Stars game, or Pokemon Eclipse game coming out, and below is the rumored legendary.

Image result for pokemon stars/pokemon eclipse

And the logos:

Image result for pokemon stars/pokemon eclipse

Image result for pokemon stars/pokemon eclipse

However, I believe that Pokemon Eclipse will be the third game since it already released out a possible legendary and that Pokemon Stars will be part of another generation of games. However, this is only my opinion, and Game Freak could have surprised everyone and made two extra games instead of one.

Another hint is the alchemy. Even though I can't fully explain it, all I know is that the starter Pokemon look like symbols in alchemy I think, or Greek myths. I think its the Greek myths, and the legendary Pokemon is based of Cerberus. For more accurate explanations, look at this video:

Oh wait, its GREEK ALCHEMY.
(Or, I think.)

Okay, moving on, I think you would be very intrigued in this section. My team in Pokemon Moon currently isn't that good, but in terms of evolution "future", this is pretty much my team, and why I chose that Pokemon. Also, this is from favorite, to least favorite.

Slot 1: Garchomp

Image result for garchomp

I found this Pokemon in the Haina Desert, after an SOS encounter. It took me literally 10 minutes to find a Pokemon who will actually call for help. I also killed 40 innocent Sandiles and Dugtrios to get one of these, except it was a Gabite. A level 28 Gabite that took 2 days to just get it to level 38. It evolves at level 48, so looks like I will have to brine for now. It's mega evolution has way better stats, but one, he looks ugly, and two, his speed stats are lowered. THEY SHOULD BE HIGHER. So, Game Freak decides to make an ugly bird-dinosaur and give it lower speed stats. Great idea, people.

Slot 2: Flygon

Related image

You might be asking, "Why Flygon? You already have two Dragon/Ground types!!" I don't really care, Flygon just looks cool, and has good movesets. I just hope they give it a mega evolution later, but not an ugly bird-dinosaur one. Preferably something like this:

Image result for mega flygon

Though, it's head isn't that good. Also, this is fan art, so I'm just hoping its like this, with a better head. I also found this in the Haina Desert, and by that time, it was only a level 30 something Trapinch. Soon, it evolved into a Vibrava, and now it is pretty close to evolving, since it is level 43. My strategy for this one was just random luck. If you ever watched the video or played, I just waited until one of those clusters of sand touched me. Apparently, it worked, and I got a Trapinch!

Slot 3: Kommo-o
Related image

He likes watermelons too! Now you're are probably wondering if I have a problem. Well, I like dragon types, so, you have a problem with that?

Slot 4: Lunala
Image result for Lunala

This is finally not a dragon type, and there will be no more dragon types. I caught this with a master ball though, since I thought it would be more honorable for a legendary to be caught with it. This Pokemon is a particularly an important member of the team for being bad ass and killing everything in one shot. So, don't mess with it.

Slot 5: Decidueye
Image result for Decidueye

This was my starter Pokemon, and I felt it was honorable if I kept my starter from the start of the game. At the beginning, I named my Rowlet, Hawkeye, since I knew it would evolve into a decidueye.

Slot 6: Alolan Sandslash
Image result for Alolan Sandslash

I found a Sandshrew in the mountains, and evolved it into a Sandslash with the ice stone. It is only  a temporary part of the team, but I still put it here.

Anyways, that is the last part of the posts. This is only the first one, so you should expect more later on. BUH-BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Happy Chinese New Year!

I haven't made much of a post in the past few weeks, but I just want to say Happy Chinese New Year!
Image result for red envelope

This day also brings back some memories back when I was a fifth grader, and when I was a Neophyte in making this blog. Anyways, in the morning my brother and I get twenty dollars each from our parents, and five dollars from Mrs. Ang, Young's mom. Some people get like, what, two hundred dollars, but I just call that cheap money.

In the day, instead of staying home, we went to China Town to see the Dragon/lion dance. It was so crowded, and I felt like I was getting suffocated, but after all, I am typing this, so I am alive. We didn't have much luck on the dragon dance, since I could barely see a thing, but I was lucky to get a close up on the lion.

We got to eat some delicious food their too, and I got a rooster necklace, since I was born in 2005, the rooster year. Anyways, that was pretty much what we did there.

FUN FACT!
DID YOU KNOW THAT IN THE CHINESE CALENDAR FOR 2017, THERE ARE ABOUT 20 EXTRA DAYS????

Also, the new year, means some new post updates!

I'll give you a couple of hints of the theme I will be selecting for a new string of posts.

It's a brand.
Its icon is red, white, and black
(That's all I am telling you.)
These new posts start whenever I am ready, which will probably be like on Young's birthday, February 2nd.

I decided to write a whole new section of posts specifically about something I can't reveal yet. Also, it would be helpful if you can fill out form that requires a really short answer. For the form, you can ask me anything you want me to write about.

"As long it's appropriate."
-Arca at MMMS

"I consider inappropriate, appropriate, but really inappropriate, inappropriate."
-Xiang

So, please give me some suggestions for posts, and remember, it can be whatever you want it to be as long as its... you know, you could always read those quotes from the famous philosopher, Xiang Meng.

10,000 Views Post + BLOG UPDATE! + WHO KNOWS WHAT

As you might have noticed, in the year 2016, we have reached 10,000 views, and I'm kind of late for that, since it's 2017 now, and we have 11,000 views!

Since this is the 10,000 views post, I have something that you can see at the end. Just don't skip to the end, otherwise things might not make sense.

This is a big accomplishment as my first year of blogging, reaching 10,000 views, in 10 months, which is all not that good, but beginners start like that. (If ya do the math, that's about 1,000 views per month.) This year, I am hoping to get to 20,000, which is set as my next goal. I do have a lot of people to thank for making this blog great, such as...

Arca Baran!
(This is what I call... Arca in disguise!)

Da boss.
He is a Turkish kid who also has a blog. He has kinda mentored me, telling me about the details and stuff like that. We've been friends since first grade. But after that, he was forgotten. To my surprise, I have no idea how, but we became friends again in fifth grade. Kind of strange, huh? He is a member of my blog too! Here is a link to his blog, if you have never been there. (you probably have!)

Kevin Liu
Sorry, can't get a picture of him.
He is also one of my friends, but currently nonactive as Administrator on this blog. He used to be, but one day, he will post something. Hopefully.

And here is Liang's blog that deserves to be here: (You probably haven't visited his blog. Ahem, NEW blog.)
He hasn't had much time to post yet, but just answer his polls and stuff. That place is weird.

Now for blog update:

NEW BACKGROUND!

Pretty good, huh?

NEW LOGO!

WOOOHOOO!!

Oh, one extra thing! I have a new google form for suggestions of background/name/logo! You can enter your name if you want to be credited in a special post of its own! This is no joke, no virus, no thug trying to steal your identity or something. (Why would I do that?) Here is the link.

The rest remained the same, but I changed some names of the gadgets and deleted one of the minor gadgets.

Let's move on to the final step, ??????????????????

OK, here is a picture of something. Who knows what.

Just imagine this even though there is bad editing. (Do you recognize this person from somewhere else???)

At the end, you might have thought I was done, but one of the biggest thanks are to...

YOU VIEWERS of the blog! If it hadn't been for you guys, I would have never reached 5000 or 10000. Well, I could've by just reloading my page, but that would be considered cheating. I hope you people enjoyed this post as well as my blog! I do have a winter vacation post, and even if it is kind of too late, I hope you've had a merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!! BYEEEEEEEEEEEE!

New Year's Eve! 2016-2017 Google logo + Countdown to 2017 Link

Today is New Year's Eve, and this is officially the last day ever of 2016! Less than 24 hours from now, it will be 2017! You can see today's special Google logo for it above. Several blue, red, yellow, and green balloons (the colors of the letters in the Google logo) are in a net. jumping up and down excitedly as they look at the clock. The clock is about to strike midnight, meaning that they are counting down until the New Year.

Happy New Year's Eve to all!

Of course, I will be watching the countdown on TV tonight. But if you are someone (like POOP!) who doesn't watch TV that often, then don't worry! Here is a link to a countdown that shows exactly how many hours, minutes, and seconds are left until the moment 2017 officially begins!:

See you in 2017! BBBBYYYYEEEE!!!

All Days Of Google Santa Tracker! (This Came From arcabaran.blogspot.com)

I did not notice this at first, so I had to rely on Arca for this. To repay him for this, here is a link to his blog if you haven't seen it:

Note from Arca, creator of the original post: Thanks Xiang! And I reccomend it for you next Christmas Eve. Its better to go on the site that night.

Xiang: THANKS

Every year since a few years back, Google has made a Santa Tracker where you can track Santa Claus's flight during Christmas Eve. It also had games and other activities that would be released each day of December, sorta like an advent calendar. You can still play those games now, but they won't last forever. Eventually, they will be removed from the homepage forever until new games are released. So here are some links to each of the days so that way they can be accessed later on. You're welcome!

I'm Back!

Hey guys! I'm back from vacation, but here is some good news/bad news based on how you would view it.

Good news:

I'm going to ski in Pennsylvania.
I'm back from Florida

Bad News:

I am not finished with the big post.
I will be leaving in two days to ski.

Anyways, the post is going to be big, and so it does take some time. I am hoping it will be finished by the New Years, and by the latest, on January 7th.

Stratton Vermont Mountain Resort Review

[I did not take the photo above. Image credit: skivermont.com]

Hi, guys, this is Arca. For the past 5 days, I was in Vermont on a ski trip in Stratton. I was still able to make two posts while I was there. Those were the Star Wars: Rogue One movie review and also the Happy Holidays post. This post will be a review of the place and a summary of what we did there.

Before we get into all of that, here are some photos that we took there:

Above: All of us when we reached halfway up the mountain through the chair lift. There was a frozen waterfall that looked really cool. [From left to right: My dad, Onur, me, and my mom]

Above: A selfie of all of us on a chair lift. [From left to right: My mom, me, Onur, my dad]

Above: Me and Onur in front of a sign that was near the entrance of Stratton. [I am on the left, and he is at the right]

Above: An animated GIF I created of a video of Onur skiing downhill.

Resort Review

This review will be broken into five parts: trails, lifts, dining/food, shopping, and hotels/condos. I will give each of these parts of the resort a rating out of 5 stars. I will average these ratings and give an overall rating of Stratton at the end.

Trails

The trails were pretty fun! Since in ski school, my level is silver (it's the second best level, the best is black) I went on mostly blues and blacks. The easiest trails are blue circles, intermediate ones are blue squares, hard ones are black diamonds, and experts only are double-black diamonds. Some of them were kinda icy and hard to navigate, but the snow was mostly smooth. My favorite trails were East Meadow (green), Spillway (blue), and Black Bear (blue that is almost a black because of the end of the trail being very steep).

So I rate the trails 4.9 out of 5 stars, because of the ice.

Lifts

There were three types of lifts: carpets, chair lifts, and the gondola. There were three carpets, all of which were basically like conveyor belts. Two were very small and were meant for little kids who wanted to go up a small hill near the bottom. There was a larger one that was also a moving carpet and it was called the caterpillar. It took up to the top of a larger hill, but it wasn't that big or steep either. The smaller ones were faster than the caterpillar. I have fallen off the caterpillar once since it isn't the most stable thing out there.

There were several chair lifts. They were chairs that lifted up on a wire. They either took you halfway up the mountain from the bottom or to the top from the middle. The one I went on the most frequently was called the American Express. It was a chair lift that took you halfway up Stratton mountain. It traveled at 15 miles per hour and was a bit shaky at the start. It had a restraint bar that you could lower but it didn't really stop you from falling. The gap was big enough so that you could literally jump out if you tried. But the lift was decent. There was one called South American, and it was NEVER open. According to one of my ski instructors, he has only seen it open three times in his 15 years at Stratton.

There was 0only one Gondola, and it took you all the way to the top from the bottom. These were closed cabins on a wire, with a place to put off your skis once you take them off. It was more comfortable than to leave them dangling, as you did on the chair lift. It was also warmer. It got shaky when the wind was a lot at the top.

I rate the lifts 4.8 out of 5 stars.

Dining/Food

They had many restaurants there. The ones that we went to were a sushi place, a tavern, a general cafeteria, a breakfast buffet, and a hotel dinner place. The tavern had good burgers and it didn't take that long to get your food. The sushi place had great rolls and lobsters. The cafeteria was WAY overpriced. A burger cost 18 dollars! Think that's too much for just one burger? The candy bars were 3 dollars each! The breakfast buffet didn't really have that many options, but it was okay. The hotel dinner place was my least favorite place. The food was actually very good, but it took more than an hour for our food to be delivered! However, they did give out free bags of gummy bears. They also had a waffle stand with delicious Belgian waffles.

I rate the dining/food 4.6 out of 5 stars.

Shopping

They had many shops in the central village area. We went to a helmet shop called Head Case. They had some super expensive helmets. But we were able to get them on discount. Plus, my parents got me my own GoProm camera for getting into honors math! (More on that later on in this post.) But it seemed that they were taking advantage of tourists. Accessories for the GoPro cost 20-30 dollars each, but you can get a bundle of 5 of them on Amazon for only 20 dollars. The GoPro requires a MicroSD card to work and handle data. They are sold separately. Here they sold it for 70 dollars, but it is on Amazon for 12 dollars.

I rate the shopping 4.7 out of 5 stars.

Hotels/Condos

We at first stayed in a hotel roomed, but then realized it was way too small to stay in. So we moved to a condo called Long Trail. The room there was a lot bigger. The condos are great overall, but not so much for the hotels.

I rate the hotels/condos 4.8 out of 5 stars.

Overall Review

I did the math and averaged out the reviews for each section and found out that the overall review is therefore 4.76 out of 5 stars. This is a good resort for families to stay together in, and skiers/snowboarders of all ages and ability levels will enjoy the mountain.

My Brand New GoPro Hero Plus

As I mentioned earlier in this post, I got a GoPro Hero Plus while I was there! It is waterproof, has adhesive mounts to stick to stuff, can do videos and photos and also time lapses, and has a high-quality resolution of 1080p. Using the GoPro app, you can edit, view, and share your videos. I plan to use this for YouTube vlogs to places such as SixFlags and Cancun, Mexico which I will go to during spring break of this year.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Share it with others if you liked it. Happy Holidays to all!

Rogue One Movie Review!

Image result for rogue one

So, this post is different from the explanation. To fill you in on some details, this post explains a lot:

Rogue I Explanation

Anyways, let's start with a summary. This post is probably going to be shorter than most movie reviews since a lot has been explained in the link above.

Summary: A group of rebels and some soldiers set out to find the Death Star plans. Among that group are Jyn Erso, Baze Malbus, Chirrut Imwe, Cassian Andor, and Rook. K2-SO technically died since it was destroyed. Soldiers that wanted to participate were included too. These group of Rogues were only a fraction of the rebellion since the rest gave up. At the end, they manage to transmit the plans to the rebellion. And that's when the other episodes start.

My thoughts (COULD POSSIBLY CONTAIN SPOILERS.):
I just don't get it. The movies are always sad. The characters all die in their own grueling sad ways. Other than that, the movie was pretty great! The best parts, in my opinion is when K2-SO comes in since he always does something to make the audience laugh. For example:

Image result for K2-SO gif

Image result for K2-SO vs storm troopers gif

Another part was when the dying storm trooper throws a grenade at the last moment, and K2-SO catches it and throws it in the back of him, blowing up storm troopers. Also, when infiltrating the place where the plans are held, they encounter a clerk at the desk. He says, "How may I help you?" and K2-SO conks him on the head.

There are several other hilarious parts of the movie, but I thought these parts were the best! Overall, I rate this movie 4.7, the highest ranking I gave!

Oh!
P.S.
Happy Birthday Arca! We watched rogue One during his birthday party!

WE ARE ALMOST THERE TO 10,000!!!

Let's make it to 10,000 on Christmas and I'll give you guys another surprise! (Though it might take long!) It will be BIGGER than the other one both literally and non-literally. Also, I changed a couple o' things like the logo. you can check that out later. Since Rogue One is coming out, I decided to change it into Star Wars font. But something else is also coming along with the bundle! Hint hint nudge nudge! I want to make a special post on Christmas, so I will get the post ready.
